Resumen
La eSalud, que abarca la telesalud y la telemedicina, presenta diferencias significativas. Este artículo realiza un análisis bibliométrico de la investigación en telesalud y telemedicina, recopilando datos de Scopus entre 2019 y 2023. Se identificaron 16.521 publicaciones, con Estados Unidos liderando en producción científica. El interés ha crecido, alcanzando un pico en 2022 con más de 4.159 documentos. Autores como Ateev Mehrotra y Harald Baumeister son destacados por su influencia en el campo.

Abstract
eHealth, which encompasses telehealth and telemedicine, presents significant differences. This article conducts a bibliometric analysis of research in telehealth and telemedicine, collecting data from Scopus between 2019 and 2023. A total of 16.521 publications were identified, with the United States leading in scientific production. Interest has grown, reaching a peak in 2022 with over 4.159 documents. Authors such as Ateev Mehrotra and Harald Baumeister are noted for their influence in the field.
